Mutual Funds — No Direct Charge to You
When you invest in mutual funds through Hatlet Ventures, you invest in Regular Plan funds. The fund house (AMC) pays us a distributor commission — typically 0.5% to 1.0% per year of your invested amount — out of the fund's expense ratio.
This does not reduce your investment amount. If you invest ₹10,000, ₹10,000 is invested. The commission is a separate cost borne by the AMC and is already reflected in the fund's expense ratio (disclosed in the fund's SID).
Regular Plan vs Direct Plan: Regular Plans (through distributors like us) have a slightly higher expense ratio than Direct Plans (bought directly from the AMC). The difference is typically 0.5–1.0% per year. In exchange, you get personalised advisory, goal tracking, portfolio review, and ongoing support.
